A new-built “old” Belgian house

When I discovered this house in a Belgian magazine, I was completely in love with it!!  I looked at the images over and over again!

This is it!.. I really would love to decorate my home as in this gorgeous house…  I am wondering what you will think about it?!

The owners of this house decided to built a copy of an ancient 18th century presbyterian house, they had known in their childhood.

One of the owners is an art historian and studied everything in detail. The exterior as the interior of the house is built and decorated with authentic materials and elements, furniture and decoration items.

The interior design is a mix of the French and the Swedish Gustavian style! This is what I love about this house!!!!

Recuperation marble floor.

Through the entire house there is used a lot of candlelight (even the chandelier here) to evoke the 18th century atmosphere.

The owners collected a lot of decoration items of different European countries.  Delft pottery, Parisian candleholders.
